Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Manufacturing and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 2.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sigmagold Inti Perkasa Tbk (JK:TMPI), which rose 24.52% or 76 points to trade at 386 at the close. Bank Mitraniaga Tbk (JK:NAGA) added 23.50% or 43 points to end at 226 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) was up 18.18% or 100 points to 650 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Energy Mines Tbk (JK:GEMS), which lost 9.87% or 190 points to trade at 1735 in late trade. Destinasi Tirta Nusantara Tbk (JK:PDES) declined 9.63% or 26 points to end at 244 and Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) shed 9.02% or 22 points to 222.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 229 to 71 and 85 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.78% or 0.34 to $43.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.00% or 0.46 to hit $46.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.95 to trade at $1324.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.14% to 13188.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 9857.10.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.40.
