Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 9.80% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.45 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.73% or 0.55 points to end at 6.20 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was up 9.70% or 2.30 points to 26.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Riyad Bank (SE:1010), which lost 2.13% or 0.20 points to trade at 9.20 in late trade. National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) declined 1.95% or 1.25 points to end at 62.75 and Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) shed 1.92% or 0.25 points to 12.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 140 to 23 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.25% or 0.13 to $51.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $52.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.16% or 2.05 to trade at $1258.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.1614, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 97.22.
