Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Real Estate and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.99% or 106 points to trade at 1876 at the close. Afriquia Gaz (CS:AGAZ1) added 5.96% or 137 points to end at 2437 and Centrale Danone (CS:CDA) was up 5.26% or 27 points to 540 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which lost 8.18% or 8.02 points to trade at 89.98 in late trade. Sothema (CS:SOT) declined 5.14% or 64 points to end at 1181 and Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) shed 4.50% or 4.90 points to 104.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 17 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.93% or 1.31 to $43.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.95% or 1.35 to hit $44.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.80% or 35.40 to trade at $1231.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.36% to 10.7660, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.9315.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.06.
