Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 6.38% or 470.0 points to trade at 7840.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 2.27% or 35.0 points to end at 1580.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 1.91% or 0.3 points to 16.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 3.62% or 115.0 points to trade at 3060.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) declined 1.21% or 15.0 points to end at 1220.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 0.63% or 80.0 points to 12520.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 9.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; losing 3.62% or 115.0 to 3060.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.29% or 0.35 to $120.28 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.68% or 21.50 to hit $3203.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.50 to trade at $1095.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 2864.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.03% to 850.23.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 96.76.
