Investing.com -- At 9:50 a.m in Toronto, the S&P/TSX Composite Index was at 20,821.09 points, up 0.44% shortly after the opening bell as investors bought the dip following yesterday’s aggressive sell-off, and just ahead of the Bank of Canada’s policy announcement at 10:00 a.m.
The commodity heavy index was also supported by gains in crude, and broad-based strengthening in metals.
