Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 5.09% or 27.00 points to trade at 557.00 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.92% or 2.7 points to end at 295.1 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 0.50% or 0.45 points to 90.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which lost 2.87% or 7.4 points to trade at 250.8 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.41% or 1.90 points to end at 132.80 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) shed 1.38% or 1.20 points to 85.45.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 282 to 261 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.99% or 1.24 to $40.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.53% or 1.11 to hit $42.73 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.82% or 10.00 to trade at $1236.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.1775, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 8.1218.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 94.61.
