Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.64% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 4.01% or 4.20 points to trade at 109.00 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 3.24% or 5.7 points to end at 181.7 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was up 2.44% or 3.0 points to 126.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 5.49% or 51.5 points to trade at 886.5 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.03% or 0.73 points to end at 35.27 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 1.44% or 4.3 points to 293.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 360 to 331 and 73 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $49.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.66 to trade at $1267.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.53% to 9.6571, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 8.8696.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 98.97.
