Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Retail and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 9.89% or 1.85 points to trade at 20.55 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 9.58% or 1.95 points to end at 22.30 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was up 8.42% or 0.80 points to 10.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which lost 3.62% or 1.00 points to trade at 26.60 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 3.61% or 1.50 points to end at 40.00 and Savola Group (SE:2050) shed 3.49% or 1.40 points to 38.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.91% or 0.47 to $52.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.94% or 0.51 to hit $54.97 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.63% or 7.45 to trade at $1170.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.0130, while USD/SAR fell 0.11% to 3.7496.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 100.63.
