Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 7.68% or 1.16 points to trade at 16.27 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 4.88% or 1.42 points to end at 30.49 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 2.01% or 2.3 points to 116.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 5.57% or 4.05 points to trade at 68.70 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 1.87% or 1.05 points to end at 55.20 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) shed 0.93% or 1.3 points to 137.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 83 to 80 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.19% or 0.09 to $47.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.72 to trade at $1223.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 9.4802, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 8.3539.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 95.98.
