Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 7.02% or 2.45 points to trade at 37.36 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.67% or 30.5 points to end at 860.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.01% or 1.3 points to 129.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 11.81% or 38.4 points to trade at 286.8 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 5.35% or 66.0 points to end at 1167.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.90% or 12.5 points to 646.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 46 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.73% or 0.74 to $42.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.49% or 0.67 to hit $44.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.38% or 5.15 to trade at $1351.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.53% to 6.6571, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 95.60.
