Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.99% or 5.8 points to trade at 297.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.47% or 190 points to end at 13090 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.32% or 5.2 points to 398.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.55% or 16.0 points to trade at 611.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.99% or 7.8 points to end at 384.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.23% or 3.3 points to 264.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 41 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.84% or 0.41 to $49.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.16% or 0.59 to hit $51.56 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 7.68 to trade at $1257.08 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.3795, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4360.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 93.91.
