Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.24% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 1.80% or 4.40 points to trade at 248.70 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.52% or 6.5 points to end at 434.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.33% or 150 points to 11450 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.50% or 13.5 points to trade at 888.5 in late trade. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 1.21% or 1.50 points to end at 122.40 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 1.19% or 3.3 points to 273.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 66 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.47% or 0.25 to $53.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.75% or 0.41 to hit $55.33 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.97% or 11.05 to trade at $1131.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 7.1556, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4345.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 103.30.
