SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund is a Bangladesh-based fund. The Fund's investment objective is to invest in various financial instruments in the Bangladesh Capital Markets, as well as Money Markets. It invests up to 10% of its total assets in any one particular company; up to 15% of its paid-up capital; up to 20% of its assets in shares, debentures or the other securities of a single or group; up to 25% of its total assets in shares, debentures or other securities in any one industry, and up to 60% of the total assets in capital market instruments out of which at least 50% will be invested in listed securities. The Fund also invests 25% of the total asset in fixed income securities (FIS). It also invests up to 15% of the total asset in pre-IPOs at one time. It also provides corporate advisory services, which include structured finance, securitization, capital raising through initial public offering (IPO), merger and acquisition, private equity deal and lead arranger of bond.
