Crescent Star Insurance Limited provides non-life general insurance products and services in Pakistan. The company operates in six segments: Fire and Property Damage; Marine, Aviation and Transport; Motor; Accident & Health; Credit and Suretyship; and Miscellaneous. It offers motor and health insurance products; fire and property insurance products, such as riot and strikes, malicious damage, explosion, atmospheric disturbance, earthquake, fire and shock, aircraft and impact damage, burglary and housebreaking, electrical clause B, removal of debris, and loss of rent; marine cargo and hull, and aviation insurance products. The company also offers engineering insurance products comprising erection and contractor’s all risks, contractor’s plant and machinery, machinery, machinery loss of profit, boiler and pressure vessel, electronic equipment, and comprehensive machinery and project insurance products; travel insurance products; livestock, crop, and agriculture insurance products; and cash-in-safe/transit, product liability, and bancassurance insurance products. In addition, it is involved in the fast-food restaurants; and beauty, skincare products, and fashion accessories businesses, as well as provision of vehicle tracking and fleet management services comprising supply and installation/trading of devices based on various technologies consisting of GPS and GSM. Crescent Star Insurance Limited was incorporated in 1957 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
