Blue Island Plc, together with its subsidiaries, engages in fish farming and trading business in Cyprus. It operates through Production and Sale of Aquaculture Fish; and Retail and Wholesale of Fish segments. The company offers fresh and frozen sea bass, sea bream, and meagre; red mullet, bogue, whitebait, sardines, anchovy, striped bream, white grouper, cod fish, alalunga tuna, blue fin tuna, yellow fin tuna, and swordfish; octopus, squid, and cuttlefish; prawns, crabs, and scampi; lobsters, mussels, oysters, clams, and cockles; and salmon, trout, and perch. It also provides sea bream and bass fry products. In addition, the company is involved in the supply of fish products to other fish markets and seafood shops, as well as to hotels and restaurants. Further, it engages in the retail sale of its products through fish markets and shops in supermarket chains. The company also exports its fish to European countries, Spain, the United States, and other Middle East countries. Blue Island Plc was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus.
