Proximus announced earnings per share of €0.37 on revenue of €1.39B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of €0.35 on revenue of €1,400M.
Proximus shares are down 3% from the beginning of the year and are trading at €16.60 , down-from-52-week-high.They are outperforming the STOXX 600 which is down 7.67% from the start of the year.
Proximus follows other major Communication Services sector earnings this month
Proximus's report follows an earnings beat by Telenet on Thursday, who reported EPS of €1.48 on revenue of €644.8M, compared to forecasts EPS of €0.772 on revenue of €645.3M (NYSE:MMM).
